Technically no, my legal name is Nicole. My nickname is Coley though and that’s what I go by at work, on my platforms and just day to day life.

How old are you?

I am 22 years old (Born in 1995), I turn 23 on December 27th this year.

Where are you from?

I am from Vancouver, BC in Canada

Do you work?

Yes! I am the owner at Coley Media Co., if you want to learn more about what I do for work feel free watch this video or visit

Where did you go to school?

I graduated high school with a bilingual certificate (French/English) and moved on to going to Berklee College of Music’s summer certificate program as a Vocalist. I came home and attended Vancouver Institute of Media Arts’s part-time digital photography class before starting at John Casablanca Institute. JCI is where I did my full time Makeup Artistry diploma program where I learnt everything from beauty/fantasy to FX/injury simulation and full prosthetic sculpting and moulding. After graduating in September of 2014, I worked towards finishing at Simon Fraser University studying Digital Communications, which I finished in December of 2014. I then did a ton of freelance work and took some time off to go backpacking across Europe, before coming home and going to school full time at the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts where I graduated from in September of 2016 with a diploma in Digital Photography.

Are you naturally blonde?

Yes! In older videos what you see is my natural hair colour basically, but I have dyed it in the past to pink and brown, so there is some bleach in my hair to bring it back to my natural colour. As you'll see on my instagram I now have platinum blonde hair which I got done at the beginning of 2017.

What camera do you use?

You can hear all about all the tech I use here.

What do you use to edit your photos and videos?

I use Lightroom, Photoshop and Alien Skin Exposure to edit my photos. Then for videos I edit in Premiere Pro. I create my thumbnails in Photoshop typically using the Bebas Nue font. For instagram, I have a detailed video about how I edit them - which you can watch here!
